There’s been a trend of people artificially recreating the sound and texture of low-quality mp3 players through their work and I feel this hits the perfect spot between authentic and listenable.

Even at its most intense, there’s still a “soft” feel that muffles over the most aggressive tones of the hardcore breaks and adds an iciness to the smooth synths. Favorite track: 06vision-128kb.
